As the first snows are upon us in upstate New York I feel that it is finally time to release an album that has been "in the can" since the summer months.

All the songs were recorded in my new rural environs far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It had been commonplace for the last ten years to have to halt recording due to a driver noisily, and irritatingly revving their engine at an inopportune moment. Or just going along with it as it perhaps added realistic flavor to a certain song.

Now, I am disturbed only by my own dissatisfaction with the songs that I am writing at the time. When this occurs I am reminded that inspiration must take a little time to gather steam. It is then that this album is a collection of mostly new tunes written over the last year but with a few oldies present as well.
