My first album, EP, whatever. It was recorded with help from my good friend Justin, in a week's time - in my living room on a Tascam 4 track recorder using one microphone. All of the songs were written during the Summer of 1999 while I was at home in Spokane, WA. wondering what to do with myself after college.
We had a good time doing it with friend's coming in and out during the recording process. My friend Geoff plays a beer cap on one track. It also features a cover of a Vic Chesnutt song that I truly loved at the time called "Panic Pure." Invigorated is perhaps one of my longest songs to date with more words than I can usually drag out of myself. I credit this to Vic, who is truly the best songwriter I have ever encountered and made me struggle to keep up! Hope you enjoy it.
